“ I have had the opportunity to eat their entire stock of jalepeno popper with my older and wiser Brother. The food is delicious and their 5/4 fries are to die for good !!! ”
“ The staff are all so wonderful, and the food is great! I recommend the BLT or Chicken Ceasar wrap with French Onion. The roast beef is also a great choice ( my husbands favorite) with cheese and a side of auju and horseradish - chefs kiss. The owner, Joe is one of a kind. He takes pride in making sure his employees are happy, attentive, he likes to keep empty plates off the table to guest do not have to sit with dirty and empty plates taking up room and he's a hands on owner. Joe personality wise is okay- but owner wise he will do literally anything to make sure you have an exceptional experience at "The five four bar and grill". Joe will also maybe, make you laugh with one of his "dad jokes". Oh and they have live music; a lot of popular local bands playing every Friday and Saturday night along with other fun weekday activities! Check the 54 out, you won't regret it. ( Except having to fake laugh at one or two dad jokes!) ”
“ Love the 5-4 for relaxed bar or table atmosphere. Mussels fra diablo APP is the best mussels ever and always in our order. Jalapeno poppers and fried pickles good too. The family and I are always happy with sandwiches, burgers, steaks and soup and chili. Bartenders and waitstaff friendly and efficient. Lively place for Philly sports fans during games on TV. Also a great place for Friday happy hours. ”
“ We live nearby and frequently go to The Five Four. They have about 8 tables outside where we typically sit as we are able to bring our dog. One of us usually pops in and let's them know we are outside (and we just order drinks then as well). They offer a good selection of beer and food. They always offer a bowl of water for our pup. They have pool tables inside, plenty of seating and typically have bands on the weekend and lots of tvs for watching sports. The beer is always cold. Everything I have ordered to eat is good. I really like the BLT. My most recent trip, I tried the Buffalo chicken tender wrap (team blue cheese so I switched out the ranch) and it so good. May be my new go to. It is served with pickles and fries. The fries are crispy and the pickles are really good. ”
“ This place never disappoints! The food, atmosphere and staff bring us back week after week. The menu includes typical bar food with a twist (like their nachos served on a pizza tray!) as well as fresh seafood and pasta dishes. We come here for quick weekday dinners and Friday nights out. They have 2 bars and plenty of space to spread out. There is always something going on between open mic, karaoke, pool, darts, quizzo and more. Brittany, Jess, Ali and Jocelyn make everyone feel welcome while the security guards make everyone feel safe. We love The Five Four. ”
“ We had an event in the party room yesterday at the Five Four Bar and Grill. The food, the service & the overall atmosphere was amazing!! I had many people tell me how great they thought everything was! Couldn't have asked for better service. Our bartender, Brittney, was on point and she was also amazing! Everyone is so friendly and it's really just a great place to hang out! Very comfortable, clean and anything you order, you're gonna love it! Sooo delish! “ Our first time here. We were not disappointed the food was amazing!! The fries were cooked perfectly and the burger was seasoned so good. Our waitress was fantastic too. We will definitely be back. Love the laid back atmosphere too. Definitely come here have some drinks and order food. ”
“ The five four was on our list for a bit and the outdoor seating made it a possible option for our lunch during the COVID crisis. High tops as well as tables scattered about the patio area adorned with umbrellas to protect from the hot August sun. The staff was eager to please and our glasses were full at all times. Our food was served hot and promptly. Today's choices were chicken nachos that were large enough for a few, served on a pizza tray with salsa and sour cream on the sides. He opted for the pork sandwich with fries - tasty but nothing extraordinary - traditional bar food with slightly higher prices than others but enjoyable and worthy of a trip back. ”
